The first 7 day Writing and Mindfulness Challenge launched in June 2020 during the lockdown. I had been taking part in a challenge myself – to write a blog post every day for thirty days. So I had been sharing my thoughts on writing every day, whether it’s a good idea, how to do it, how to come up with ideas, how to find the time, all of that good kind of stuff. I got to thinking, what kind of challenge would I set if I was going to come up with my own writing challenge? And the Writing and Mindfulness Challenge was born!
On 26th May this year, I’m giving a writing and mindfulness workshop at Rewild Festival at the University of Brighton, so in honour of Rewild, I give you the 7 Day Writing and Mindfulness Challenge Reboot. Starting on Monday (tomorrow!) I’m going to be sharing a different writing activity for 7 days. It will only take 5 minutes of your time – but you can extend the activity if you want to – I’ll show you how to do that too.
Follow along with the challenge here.
Put aside five minutes each day to do the activity, plus an extra 5 minutes or so to read the instructions. You’ll need something to write with and a way of making your writing mobile. Carry a notebook or use your phone.
I’ll see you tomorrow. Until then, happy writing,
Lou xx
